Director of Development – Concrete Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Identify and prioritize prospective clients, developers, and market segments.

• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and cost drivers to guide strategic decisions.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with owners, developers, architects, and engineers.

• Lead intricate pursuits from initial engagement to contract execution.

• Coordinate internal teams to outline project scope, risk strategy, and unique selling propositions.

• Leverage extensive knowledge of concrete construction, structural systems, and project sequencing.

• Ensure precise pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 10 to 20 years of experience in the construction industry.

• 5 to 10+ years in business development, preconstruction, or project development roles.

• Strong background in concrete construction or structural systems.
