Director of Development – Concrete Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify and prioritize target clients, developers, and market segments.

• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and cost drivers to guide strategy.

• Convert market intelligence into actionable pursuit plans that align with growth objectives.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with owners, developers, architects, and engineers.

• Lead intricate pursuits from initial engagement through to contract execution.

• Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, engineering, and operations teams.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of concrete construction, structural systems, and sequencing.

• Ensure accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 10–20 years of experience in the construction industry.

• 5–10+ years in business development, preconstruction, or project development roles.

• Strong background in concrete construction or structural systems.
