This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a detailed fundraising strategy, which includes but is not limited to quarterly giving initiatives, major donations, and grant applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing donors, encompassing individuals and foundations.
• Manage and expand our development team, promoting a culture of growth, efficiency, and innovation.
• Supervise the execution of all fundraising campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budget projections.
• Work closely with the marketing and editorial teams to improve fundraising communications and donor engagement tactics.
• Regularly monitor and report on the development program's progress to the executive team.
• Keep abreast of trends, legislation, and best practices in fundraising and nonprofit management to adjust strategies as needed.
• Represent LifeSite News at various events and virtual engagements, boosting the organization’s visibility and fundraising potential.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in a senior fundraising position within a nonprofit organization.
• A proven history of meeting revenue goals and expanding a donor base.
• Strong leadership abilities with a knack for establishing clear priorities, delegating tasks, and investing in personnel and systems.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, skilled at fostering connections with a diverse array of individuals.
