Director of Delivery Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and oversee the delivery management strategy, frameworks, and standards across all products and workstreams.

• Lead, mentor, and develop Senior Delivery Managers, Delivery Managers, and Delivery Analysts.

• Manage executive-level stakeholder relationships, delivering updates on status, risk evaluations, and strategic recommendations.

• Set standards for estimation and quality benchmarks for requirements documentation.

• Promote ongoing enhancements in delivery processes, tools, and reporting methods.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leadership to ensure that delivery priorities are aligned with organizational objectives.

• Supervise resource planning, capacity management, and team development.

• Act as the escalation point for delivery-related risks, obstacles, and inter-team dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in delivery management, program management, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing multi-tiered teams.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional programs on schedule and within defined scope.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience in establishing delivery frameworks and governance structures.

• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification is preferred.
