Director of Data Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and assess potential data partners that offer significant strategic and product value.

• Directly engage with CEOs and senior executives, many of whom have yet to monetize their data, to evaluate opportunities and foster alignment.

• Lead the discovery and diligence processes to assess data quality, defensibility, and long-term applicability for products.

• Create strategic and economic business cases for potential partnership opportunities.

• Negotiate and finalize complex, enterprise-level agreements, including exclusive partnerships.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, product, compliance, engineering, and executive leadership teams.

• Utilize sound judgment in prioritizing opportunities and deciding when to pursue, pause, or withdraw.

⛳️ Requirements

• Director-level (or equivalent) experience in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, corporate development, investment banking, or strategy consulting with operational exposure.

• Individual contributor focused, ideal for enterprise sales professionals aiming to transition into a non-traditional sales role with a focus on quota achievement.

• Proven experience in evaluating and executing complex, multi-stakeholder transactions.

• Comfortable engaging with and influencing C-suite executives.

• Exhibit strong judgment when assessing ambiguous, high-stakes opportunities.

• Thrive in less structured environments and enjoy creating new pathways.

• Possess the grit and resilience to maintain momentum during lengthy negotiations.

• Have a genuine curiosity about the data ecosystem and how data drives competitive advantage and fosters new product innovation.
