Director of Cost Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and nurture a team of Cost Managers while providing cost management services for a significant construction project.

• Ensure exceptional service quality regarding service delivery and client interactions.

• Facilitate communication with the client.

• Conduct market research related to construction conditions.

• Generate thought leadership reports that offer insights into the construction market.

• Manage the operational elements of Cost Management Services.

• Foster and develop outstanding personnel, encouraging a culture of learning, respect, and inclusivity.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and participation in ISO audits.

• Perform internal BMS audits.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the market and establish a pipeline of opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying.

• At least 2 years of experience managing high-performing cost management teams within a consulting environment.

• Prior experience in people management.

• Proven success in delivering effective cost management services to clients.

• Strong business development skills and a desire to drive business growth.

• Significant experience in the construction sector, working with prestigious clients in commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.

• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
