This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily content operations for approximately 125 corporate-run magazines while establishing scalable workflows and operational rhythms to facilitate growth towards 200 publications.
• Manage comprehensive production timelines, enforce quality standards, and onboard new titles transitioning from the franchise ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Creative, Editorial, and Design teams to eliminate bottlenecks, uphold brand standards, and enhance readership engagement.
• Guide, mentor, and develop the Content team.
• Assess staffing capabilities and allocate resources to ensure sustainable portfolio growth.
• Implement strategies to boost readership engagement and reinforce the magazine's value to communities.
• Oversee the content operating budget.
• Track KPIs for deadline adherence, expenses, productivity, quality, and audience engagement.
• Work alongside Business Operations, Client Success, and Franchise leadership to create a cohesive and efficient operation.
• Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop individuals while fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
• Strong background in operations and project management.
• Experience in structuring, clarifying, and implementing scalable processes for complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Capability to translate high-level vision into actionable plans and navigate through growth, ambiguity, and change.
• Extensive experience in managing budgets, team capacity, strict deadlines, and performance metrics while ensuring product quality.
• Proven cross-functional leadership experience with a history of building trust and aligning diverse teams and organizational levels.
• Data-driven decision-making approach utilizing KPIs to identify operational challenges, enhance performance, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Strong creative instincts aimed at improving magazine quality, elevating brand standards, and enhancing readership engagement.
• Ability to create clarity, ownership, and repeatable systems for organizational scalability.
• Proficiency in anticipating obstacles and capacity limitations.
• Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to optimize people, processes, and products.
