This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the daily content operations for approximately 125 corporate-managed magazines while developing scalable workflows and operational rhythms to accommodate 200 publications.
• Manage comprehensive production schedules, quality standards, and the onboarding process for new titles transitioning from the franchise ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Creative, Editorial, and Design teams to eliminate bottlenecks, uphold brand standards, and enhance reader engagement.
• Lead, mentor, and foster the growth of the Content team.
• Assess staffing levels and allocate resources to ensure sustainable portfolio growth.
• Implement strategies to boost reader engagement and reinforce the magazine's value within communities.
• Oversee the content operating budget and track KPIs related to deadlines, expenses, productivity, quality, and audience engagement.
• Collaborate with Business Operations, Client Success, and Franchise leadership to create a cohesive and efficient operation.
• Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop individuals while fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
• Strong background in operations and project management.
• Experience in providing structure, clarity, and scalable processes for complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to translate high-level visions into actionable execution plans, leading through periods of growth, uncertainty, and change.
• Extensive experience in managing budgets, team capacity, strict deadlines, and performance metrics while maintaining quality.
• Proficient in cross-functional leadership with a proven record of building trust and fostering alignment across various teams and organizational levels.
• Data-driven decision-making approach utilizing KPIs to identify challenges, enhance performance, and suggest improvements.
• Strong creative instincts focused on improving magazine quality, elevating brand standards, and increasing reader engagement.
