This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the strategy for clinical services, ensuring alignment between clinical operations, client outcomes, and product performance with the organization's objectives.
• Drive the clinical adoption, optimization, and value realization of clinical products and services.
• Shape product direction and roadmap planning using clinical insights, client feedback, workflow analysis, and performance trends.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Data Science, and Operations teams on tools, products, and workflows.
• Identify best practices, suggest process improvements, and promote scalable solutions.
• Act as a clinical thought leader both internally and externally.
• Examine client workflows, documentation patterns, adoption metrics, and performance trends to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Assess clinical and system outputs against intended use, regulatory and operational expectations, and business results.
• Convert business strategy into actionable functional plans, priorities, and execution guidance.
• Spearhead the resolution of complex client, operational, and product-related challenges.
• Serve as a point of escalation for significant client issues and facilitate cross-functional resolution.
• Formulate action plans to address emerging challenges, adoption issues, and service performance.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring client success, retention, and growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish strategic plans, objectives, and implementation strategies.
• Make execution decisions to guarantee operational efficiency.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, decision-makers, and key partners.
• Communicate insights on client health, business risks, mitigation strategies, and performance to leadership.
• Work across departments to enhance processes and improve client experiences.
• Coach teams to deliver exceptional service and engage effectively with clients.
• Guide functional areas through lower-level management and/or senior individual contributors.
• Lead, mentor, and coach team members.
• Set expectations, track performance, and enforce accountability.
• Oversee programs and processes that support adoption, risk management, retention, renewal, and growth.
• May manage functional budgets, resource allocation, staffing strategies, and operational planning.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Typically possesses 10+ years of clinical specialty experience in an acute care setting, with progressive leadership responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience in people leadership, team development, and staff management during times of change, performance expectations, and strategic priorities.
• Background in hospital-based clinical operations, utilization management, utilization review, clinical documentation improvement, or a similar clinical-services environment.
• Experience contributing to program strategy, goal setting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong executive presence, along with excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and organizational influence skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex issues, concurrent priorities, and stakeholder escalations.
• Strong persuasion and relationship management skills to guide clients and teams through change and conflicting priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client and business needs.
• For roles focused on Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI): CCDS, CCS, or CDIP is preferred.
• For roles focused on Utilization Management (UM): CCM or ACM is preferred.
• Experience with healthcare technology or AI-enabled platforms is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Registered Nurse is mentioned in preferred qualifications.
