This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of the clinical quality strategy for a rapidly expanding network that encompasses over 20 states, 400+ clinicians, and various care models.
β’ Develop and implement frameworks for performance monitoring, documentation standards, and audit readiness that are designed to scale seamlessly with organizational growth.
β’ Convert regulatory requirements into actionable workflows.
β’ Present quality trends, risk indicators, and suggestions for improvement to the extended leadership team alongside colleagues in Clinical, Operations, and Product.
β’ Provide insights for board-level reporting on clinical risk and compliance status.
β’ Define the characteristics of effective, evidence-based clinical supervision at Cartwheel and create systems to assess and enhance it.
β’ Oversee HIPAA compliance, incident management, complaint and grievance workflows, and payer audit preparedness across all operational jurisdictions.
β’ Establish a clinical compliance policy framework that proactively accommodates growth instead of merely responding to it.
β’ Set the performance benchmarks for Cartwheel's clinician network β not only identify when standards are not met.
β’ Lead and nurture a team that evolves alongside the organization.
β’ Over 5 years of experience creating clinical quality infrastructure in behavioral health β focusing on building rather than inheriting or maintaining.
β’ Developed clinical supervision competency frameworks within distributed or multi-site environments.
β’ Extensive knowledge of HIPAA, multi-state telehealth regulations, and behavioral health licensing requirements across a broad state footprint.
β’ Proven experience managing external regulatory relationships with payers, auditors, or state agencies.
β’ Clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
β’ Approaches quality infrastructure with a mindset geared towards innovation and automation β effectively utilizes AI and technology to create scalable monitoring, reporting, and compliance systems without increasing headcount.
β’ Operates at a strategic level: anticipates potential quality risks and positions the organization accordingly.
