Director of Clinical Operations, Strategy, Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive strategies and system workflows that span core operational and clinical outcome metrics.

• Collaborate with clinical, product, technology, and frontline teams to transition initiatives from pilot stages to full implementation.

• Evaluate variability, create decision frameworks, and identify performance drivers utilizing robust probabilistic models.

• Oversee workflows directly and through persuasive influence, prioritizing initiatives that support and empower frontline clinicians.

• Enhance care coordination, including expedited lab tests and preventative screenings.

• Foster deeper member engagement across various clinical services and channels.

• Propel process performance to execute, assess, and improve impactful care actions.

• Develop and expand multi-channel clinical programs to connect with members at their convenience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of proactive operational leadership in complex, dynamic, or regulated settings (e.g., technology operations, healthcare operations, marketplace operations, strategy & operations).

• Demonstrated success in mapping, optimizing, and scaling cross-functional processes that enhance key business metrics.

• Proficient in constructing quantitative models, assessing experiments probabilistically, and differentiating genuine signals from data noise.

• Capable of linking broader strategic goals with practical problem-solving approaches.

• Experienced in directing cross-functional teams both directly and collaboratively, maintaining a frontline-first approach.

• Quick to master complex operational domains; experience in healthcare or value-based care is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Inquisitive about modern technology tools, including using LLMs/prompting to streamline daily tasks.

• Highly adaptable to ambiguity and rapid cycles of change.
