This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of, develop, and consistently enhance the comprehensive Catalog Operating model, which encompasses governance, intake models, decision rights, and cross-functional workflows.
• Create standardized operating procedures, establish clear accountability metrics, and implement systematic simplification to minimize informal processes and manual efforts.
• Propel operational capacity growth through workflow automation and strategic resource planning.
• Develop and manage a structured intake and backlog prioritization framework for SKU setups, product rationalizations, attribute enrichment, and catalog maintenance.
• Determine whether to accept, defer, sequence, or re-scope incoming cross-functional tasks based on customer impact, margin potential, and team capacity.
• Establish regular weekly and monthly planning rhythms to provide executive visibility into throughput, queue health, backlog volume, and project timelines.
• Supervise New Number Announcements, data-enrichment processes, product lifecycle updates, and overall catalog health.
• Ensure the integrity and completeness of catalog data across customer-facing and internal downstream systems.
• Lead initiatives aimed at closing operational gaps and ensuring readiness for supplier onboardings, brand launches, and merchandising campaigns.
• Monitor SLAs, cycle times, rework rates, and operational bottlenecks while implementing corrective actions.
• Design, map, and optimize future-state workflows to eliminate redundant handoffs and enhance output efficiency.
• Define operational requirements for Jira, Monday.com, Sigma BI, and internal PIM systems, including the assessment of AI-assisted capabilities.
• Build, mentor, and lead the Catalog Operations team.
• Establish collaborative operational governance with Vendor Relations, Supply Planning, Tech, and Data teams.
• Present operational performance metrics, capacity models, and strategic recommendations to senior executive leadership.
• Report directly to the Head of Catalog and Digital Merchandising.
• Over 7 years of progressive leadership experience managing operational teams or complex, heavily matrixed programs in organizations with extensive supplier, product, or SKU ecosystems.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling operating models, planning cadences, SLAs, and performance governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to operate effectively as a hands-on leader directly engaged in operational analysis, workflow design, problem-solving, and execution.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of prioritizing high-volume requests based on business impact, risk, urgency, and resource availability.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership capabilities with a talent for building consensus and enforcing governance across matrixed teams.
• Proficient in operational workflow, business intelligence, collaboration, and product data management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, Sigma BI, PIM tools).
• Prior experience in the automotive aftermarket industry or managing complex, highly technical product catalog structures is preferred.
• Experience in evaluating and implementing AI-assisted tools or workflow automation software within a retail or e-commerce catalog setting is preferred.
