Director of AI Platform Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the administration of the Association’s main AI platform and Microsoft Copilot.

• Oversee user provisioning and deprovisioning, configure single sign-on (SSO), manage permission levels, and allocate seats across standard and Pro/Max license tiers.

• Ensure that platform configurations adhere to enterprise security standards and Responsible AI guidelines.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between AI platforms and core enterprise systems.

• Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk team to confirm that all AI platform configurations comply with data security policies.

• Monitor platform usage trends and produce usage analytics.

• Act as the main technical liaison with AI platform vendors.

• Lead the technical due diligence process for any proposed new AI tools.

• Manage the construction and upkeep of internal Center of Excellence (CoE) tools.

• Anticipate platform capacity requirements as user adoption increases.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise technology operations, platform administration, or systems integration within a large, matrixed organization.

• Proven experience in administering SaaS platforms at scale (1,000+ users).

• Practical experience with API integrations, data connectors, and middleware for enterprise systems.

• Strong grasp of data security principles, compliance frameworks, and enterprise risk management.

• Experience in managing technical relationships with vendors.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related field (preferred).

• Direct experience with administering enterprise AI platforms (such as Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, or similar).

• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint administration.

• Knowledge of AI-specific technical concepts.
