Director of Agents

Posted 1 hour ago

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Recognize and prioritize agent opportunities throughout the organization via structured discovery.

• Conduct interviews with individual contributors and managers to uncover pain points, map workflows, and ascertain whether the appropriate solution is an agent, a process enhancement, or a systems adjustment.

• Manage the opportunity backlog for the agents team.

• Organize tasks based on business impact, maintain clear priorities, and ensure rigor in the scoping and initiation of work.

• Discover business process improvement opportunities through continual engagement with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the systems team to identify data and process gaps that hinder agent readiness.

• Develop production-grade agent workflows, prompts, and skills.

• Utilize structured problem-solving across a high-volume workload; maintain sequencing, visibility, and accountability for all active tasks without compromising the quality of individual deliverables.

• Demonstrate a confident executive presence while interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a technical, operational, or solutions-oriented role.

• Proven ability to create production-grade prompts, skills, and multi-step agent workflows.

• Hands-on experience with MCP integration, tool calling, and LLM-based systems.

• Strong business acumen — capable of analyzing a pipeline, identifying where value may be lost, and linking agent investments to efficiency and revenue outcomes.

• Experience in conducting structured discovery interviews with individual contributors and executives to identify pain points, map workflows, and prioritize solutions.

• Highly organized thinker with a proven ability to manage and prioritize a substantial, concurrent workload without sacrificing precision or accountability.

• Background in RevOps, Sales Operations, Product Management, business process improvement, or commercial systems is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in driving adoption, not merely delivery — encompassing training, enablement, and change management.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident executive presence with the ability to engage credibly at all levels from individual contributors to C-suite executives.

• Collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively across teams and time zones.
