This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients and manage all client accounts.
• Lead and mentor the Account Management team.
• Foster both organic and new business growth.
• Sustain strategic client relationships while providing insights on business, industry, and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with key team members across various disciplines to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Identify skill sets and performance criteria, oversee staff management, coach team members, and support career development initiatives.
• Set departmental service delivery objectives assessed through KPIs.
• Assess team performance relative to KPIs and provide guidance to management.
• Develop and uphold client service standards, methodologies, processes, and procedures within Account Management.
• Collaborate with leadership to formulate and update policies and procedures.
• Identify and execute strategic initiatives and plan execution for clients and internal teams.
• Recognize opportunities for operational efficiency and provide business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOC Audit Guidelines and Requirements.
• Oversee and authorize departmental PTO policies, compensation, and performance management.
• Adhere to HIPAA obligations related to Protected Health Information and report any violations.
• Complete mandatory HIPAA training.
• Supervise all Account Managers and manage departmental performance evaluations and hiring processes.
• Travel 20%–25% and present to clients as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in direct client/account management.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role leading a similar function.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
• Capability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Experience in preparing and interpreting analytical reports.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables at once.
• Strong ownership of client issues and concerns, ensuring outstanding client service.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external consultants.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy and industry initiatives.
• Willingness to travel and present to clients as needed.
• Availability to work core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, with potential schedule adjustments for meetings across different time zones.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Experience in healthcare or PBM is advantageous.
• MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.
• Competency in required HIPAA training.
• Must manage Account Managers and be accountable for departmental hiring and performance oversight.
