📋 Description

• Under the guidance of the Senior VP of Accreditation Strategy & Partnerships, the Director acts as a specialist in Non-Public Services.

• This position will oversee and manage the administration of Non-Public Services across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities to create centralized, systematic, and formalized processes and support for non-public institutions.

• In partnership with both internal and external stakeholders, the Director spearheads the support, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Non-Public products and services, aiming to enhance the integration of these offerings and expand the Cognia network.

• The Director provides thought leadership and leverages current knowledge and expertise in non-public education to amplify Cognia’s influence on non-public education providers and foster continuous improvement.

• Supports the vision, mission, and values of Cognia to affirm its status as the esteemed authority on accreditation and ongoing school improvement for non-public education providers.

• Aids in the execution of the strategic vision and objectives of the office.

• Collaborates on the development of strategies and initiatives to broaden partnerships and boost membership within the non-public sector.

• Assists in nurturing and maintaining relationships with prominent non-public clients.

• Oversees the Synchronized Accreditation Program.

• Conducts research and analysis to identify market trends, needs, and opportunities within the non-public education sector.

• Keeps abreast of current regulations, requirements, best practices, and future trends in non-public education to effectively support and inform Cognia’s services and solutions.

• Develops training and other intellectual resources related to non-public accreditation and continuous improvement.

• Utilizes data to support, execute, and monitor the performance and impact of the office.

• Delivers presentations and participates in meetings, conferences, and events to support the strategic goals of the office.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in education and/or business development is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, including substantial knowledge of strategic planning for non-public schools and systems where alignment to quality assurance standards is the objective.

• Experience in leading teams, whether as a non-public school leader, corporate project manager, or direct supervisor/director is essential.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities: employs sound judgment to develop suitable solutions to challenges.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Team collaboration and communication: effectively works with others towards shared organizational goals, policies, and procedures.

• High work standards and integrity: demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and maintains high standards in fulfilling commitments and achieving organizational effectiveness.

• Motivation, reliability, and adaptability: shows a high degree of self-direction and effort and can easily adjust to changes.

• Planning and organizing: efficiently allocates and utilizes resources, prioritizes tasks, and meets organizational objectives.

• Extensive knowledge of all products, services, and solutions provided by Cognia.

• Strong understanding of current issues in non-public education, particularly in strategic planning, continuous improvement, and accreditation.

• Capability to deliver high-quality oral and written presentations using various digital tools.

• Ability to establish and maintain connections with leaders of educational associations and agencies.

• Proficiency in working and communicating effectively with all Microsoft applications and other web-based presentation tools.

• Operates with high integrity, initiative, and determination.

• Competence in effectively training, motivating, supervising, and evaluating staff.
