
Director, Microsoft Alliances – Americas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Develop and implement the alliance strategy for Microsoft in the Americas, ensuring alignment with corporate and global objectives.
• Establish annual goals, quarterly OKRs, and actionable execution plans.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and operational assessments with Microsoft stakeholders.
• Oversee the execution of alliances across various regions and business units.
• Stimulate growth in co-sell pipelines, Azure usage, and solution adoption.
• Identify and initiate joint go-to-market strategies and industry-specific solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with Microsoft field sales teams, Product Development Managers (PDMs), and Industry Go-To-Market (GTM) groups.
• Support revenue generation and strategic positioning of Business Applications.
• Cultivate relationships with Microsoft partner and field leadership.
• Act as the primary point of contact for daily alliance planning and execution.
• Represent Hitachi Solutions at Microsoft partner events and enablement forums.
• Empower Sales and Delivery teams regarding Microsoft programs, incentives, and co-selling strategies.
• Conduct regional training sessions, workshops, and enablement initiatives.
• Share best practices, success stories, and playbooks among teams.
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft Partner Network standards.
• Identify and take advantage of Microsoft funding and incentive opportunities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline contribution, win rates, attach rates, and incentives.
• Prepare performance dashboards and updates for leadership.
• Over 10 years of experience in technology alliances or partnerships.
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, M365, and Dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience in co-selling execution and collaborative go-to-market planning.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and influence.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Preferred: previous experience managing a Microsoft alliance or executing co-selling initiatives with Microsoft in a sales role.
• Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft partner programs, incentives, and funding structures.
• Preferred: background in cloud technologies, AI, and enterprise applications.
