This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing, guiding, and directing standard practices within the revenue cycle.

• Ensures effective utilization of system resources to achieve optimal results and performance metrics in the revenue cycle.

• Facilitates regional strategies to tackle internal or external business and regulatory challenges; provides expert guidance and ensures compliance with performance and service standards.

• Accountable for maintaining consistent operational performance and meeting financial objectives.

• Identifies, articulates, and resolves complex issues that influence business management and direction; collaborates with Service Areas, Regions, and Health Ministries to ensure cohesive strategy and operations.

• Stays informed about new developments and standards within the industry.

• Offers decision support, operational leadership, and optimization focus.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in revenue cycle operations, including revenue metrics, analytics, and revenue management.

• Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a multi-facility, integrated healthcare delivery system or in revenue cycle consulting.

• Proficient knowledge of revenue cycle and accounting systems, insurance matters, healthcare industry trends, legal issues relevant to the field, required third-party and governmental guidelines, and workflow processes.

• Epic experience is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with medical group front office operations, ICD-10 and CPT coding, medical terminology, along with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations.
