This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create detailed B2B media strategies that are in line with client marketing objectives, target demographics, and business aspirations.
• Convert overarching marketing and demand-generation strategies into practical, full-funnel media plans.
• Discover and assess media opportunities across programmatic, paid social, SEM, trade publications, outdoor, traditional media, and other pertinent channels.
• Provide strategic guidance throughout the phases of campaign planning, execution, optimization, and reporting.
• Ensure that media plans are well-structured, measurable, and optimized to meet established objectives.
• Collaborate with channel specialists and activation teams to guarantee accurate campaign execution in accordance with the approved strategy.
• Assist with in-platform campaign management and optimization as needed.
• Analyze campaign performance and leverage data and insights to pinpoint optimization opportunities.
• Aid in establishing campaign measurement frameworks, key performance indicators, and reporting methodologies.
• Ensure that lessons learned and performance insights are integrated into future planning and recommendations.
• Act as a trusted media advisor to clients by offering clear, informed, and actionable recommendations.
• Lead or assist in client discussions regarding media strategy, planning, campaign performance, and optimization.
• Present media plans, results, insights, and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
• Develop a thorough understanding of each client’s business, industry, audiences, and competitive landscape.
• Identify opportunities to enhance or expand the agency’s media offerings within existing client relationships.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with B2B media vendors and platform partners.
• Assess vendor capabilities, opportunities, and recommendations to ensure alignment with client needs.
• Support media negotiations to secure suitable rates, placements, and added value.
• Manage media budgets responsibly, ensuring investments are allocated and handled efficiently.
• Stay informed about new media partners, platforms, tools, and opportunities that are relevant to B2B audiences.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to media team members.
• Review media plans and recommendations to guarantee strategic quality, accuracy, and alignment.
• Assist in the professional development and growth of junior and mid-level team members.
• Encourage strong collaboration among media, account management, demand strategy, creative, analytics, and other internal teams.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Marketbridge’s media processes, tools, capabilities, and best practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
• At least 8 years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, ideally within an agency setting.
• Extensive experience in developing and executing media strategies for B2B clients.
• Proven knowledge of B2B media channels, including programmatic, paid social, SEM, and trade publications.
• Experience with The Trade Desk, DV360, or similar programmatic platforms.
• Experience in managing significant media budgets and collaborating with media vendors and platform partners.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience in interpreting media performance data and reporting.
• Experience in leading client presentations and offering strategic media recommendations.
• Prior experience in mentoring, managing, or guiding media professionals.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple client accounts and adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to propose new ideas, challenge existing methods, and work effectively across teams.
