Director – MDM Lead, Pharma – Lifesciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise Master Data Management solutions.

• Lead the design and execution of MDM solutions tailored for Commercial domains (HCP, HCO, Affiliation, Product, Territory, Customer hierarchies).

• Establish the golden record strategy, survivorship rules, match/merge logic, and data stewardship workflows.

• Create an MDM reference architecture that aligns with the enterprise data strategy and regulatory requirements.

• Configure and manage Informatica MDM, including data models, match rules, trust frameworks, and hierarchies.

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Informatica PowerCenter / IICS.

• Define and implement data quality rules, KPIs, and exception handling processes.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Commercial master data.

• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Market Access, and Analytics teams.

• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on data standards, priorities, and roadmap.

• Provide strategic insights on MDM best practices and operational models.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of practical experience in MDM implementations within the Life Sciences / Pharma sector.

• Strong expertise in Informatica MDM (Customer 360 / Multidomain).

• Extensive experience in designing and constructing ETL pipelines using Informatica or similar tools.

• Proven track record of working with Commercial Pharma data domains (HCP/HCO, affiliations, sales, CRM).
