This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead a global supply planning team, including a substantial group located in Thailand.
• Take ownership of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) within an outsourced framework.
• Act as the main escalation contact for issues related to material shortages, supply risks, and challenges in delivery commitments.
• Facilitate cross-functional production and supplier meetings.
• Collaborate with inventory management to optimize service levels, working capital, and inventory risks.
• Ensure precise forecast development and provide timely updates to manufacturing partners.
• Advocate for supply chain transformation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• Significant experience in leading material management or supply planning teams within mid-to-large organizations.
• Extensive knowledge in materials planning, sourcing and procurement, outsourced manufacturing processes, new product launches, and contract manufacturer oversight.
• Strong familiarity with material requirements planning and enterprise resource planning systems, as well as standards for materials management and just-in-time principles.
• Proven analytical skills, including the ability to quickly integrate and interpret complex data sets using Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated project management experience in support of cross-functional and multi-regional initiatives.
• Capacity to influence results and lead collaboratively within global, matrixed organizations.
• Proficiency in English and willingness to work across different time zones, including urgent interactions with manufacturing partners.
