Director, Market Leadership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to a Regional Vice President

• Oversee the TRICARE contract within a designated geographic area, potentially spanning multiple states

• Connect market-level strategic, operational, and tactical initiatives for Humana Military, DHA, DHNs, and MTFs

• Manage daily TRICARE operations across specified PSAs, NPSAs, MTFs, Coast Guard clinics, and National Guard and Reserve Units

• Offer expert consultative services to DHN and MTF staff to establish and maintain a locally integrated healthcare system in line with the MHS Quadruple Aim

• Formulate, influence, and execute strategies and action plans to enhance DHN/MTF optimization, ensure a prepared medical force, and maintain the medical readiness of service members

• Supervise TRICARE service delivery and network operations, which include customer support and outreach, network adequacy, access-to-care standards, provider relationships, education, and management

• Engage in the development of Alternative Payment Methodologies and Demonstration Pilots that align with Value-Based Care models

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory

• Must obtain interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services)

• Candidates residing in Puerto Rico are not eligible for hire

• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector

• Experience in strategic planning is essential

• Familiarity with the Military Health System and/or TRICARE contracts is required

• Proven experience in fiscal stewardship or managing cost trends

• Experience in network development and management

• Background in Managed Care is necessary

• Demonstrated experience coordinating diverse functional activities

• Ability to work during Central and/or Eastern Time Zone hours

• Minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps

• Capable of working from a dedicated space without interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
