This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the formulation of pricing, reimbursement, and payer marketing strategies for both existing and upcoming products to enhance patient access and value realization.
• Create asset and portfolio-level value propositions, access narratives, and customer engagement strategies that align with brand and business goals.
• Shape strategies for pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and distribution channels, providing recommendations, trade-off analyses, and contingency plans to support overall business objectives.
• Develop and manage resources for payers, tools for managed markets, and training materials that effectively convey product value and differentiation.
• Collaborate closely with Brand, Medical Affairs, HEOR/RWE, Commercial, Pricing & Contracting, Market Access, and Analytics teams to ensure that access considerations are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead evaluations of market access channels, customer needs, and emerging opportunities, proposing innovative methods to improve access and customer engagement.
• Keep track of payer, policy, reimbursement, competitive, and market trends, translating insights into strategic recommendations and actionable business plans.
• Guide the generation of evidence and the development of value strategies to support favorable payer coverage, reimbursement, and market access outcomes.
• Act as a key advisor for market access during pipeline development, launch preparation, lifecycle management, and business development opportunities.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate the execution and effectiveness of market access and payer marketing strategies.
• Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders, promoting collaboration between access, commercial, and brand teams to ensure successful execution.
• Oversee payer marketing budgets, agency partners, and external vendors while ensuring the delivery of high-quality strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Travel may be required up to 20-30% based on business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry, with significant expertise in Market Access, Payer Marketing, Pricing & Reimbursement, Managed Markets, or related commercial functions.
• Proven track record of developing and executing market access and payer strategies throughout the product lifecycle, including for both existing and pipeline products.
• Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. market access landscape, encompassing payer systems, reimbursement, pricing and contracting, trade and distribution, patient access programs, and channel dynamics.
• Experience working effectively within a cross-functional matrix environment and influencing senior stakeholders across Commercial, Brand, Medical, HEOR/RWE, and Market Access organizations.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and driving results.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including people management, team development, or leadership of complex cross-functional projects.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or related field) is preferred.
• Experience supporting both pipeline and inline products, ideally within CNS or other specialty therapeutic areas.
• Knowledge of pricing and contracting strategies, evidence generation, HEOR/RWE, and business development assessments.
• Experience in leading strategic initiatives, managing agency partners and budgets, and driving market access innovation across complex organizations.
