This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serving as the primary contact for US Integrated Product Strategy Teams (IPST), representing the market access function in all pertinent product/platform meetings and ensuring the involvement and presence of other Market Access functions as needed.
• Creating, developing, and implementing a comprehensive 3- to 5-year strategic access plan in collaboration with market access sub-functions, which encompasses the integration of both short- and long-term access strategies/tactics within an annual product planning framework.
• Collaborating with Novartis Patient Support, Integrating Marketing, and Customer Engagement Organizations to ensure efficiency and seamless execution of market access strategies.
• Partnering with Payer, Pricing, and Channel Strategy to guarantee that annual forecasts are precise and reflect the latest developments in the market.
• Communicating US market access product/platform strategies as necessary with Executive Leadership, ensuring the US Leadership Team remains informed about access opportunities and challenges at any time.
• Collaborating with brand and other Market Access teams to secure annual budgets and ensure that tactical plans are aligned with Market Access product strategies.
• Engaging closely with Legal, Compliance, Brand, and Marketing teams to ensure that tactics are aligned and executed promptly and in compliance with regulations.
• Mastering the NVS Material Approval Process, including the FUSE platform, compliance with pharma/FDA marketing regulations, and vendor payment systems.
• Overseeing the development of essential market research, including qualitative and quantitative studies, and identifying core go-to-market principles to achieve optimal product commercialization.
• Responsible for managing multiple budgets and deliverables, including organizing interim project updates to ensure cross-functional alignment and confirming that deliverables remain within the allocated budget.
• Bachelor's degree required; an MBA, Health Policy, or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry focusing on Marketing/Sales, Market Access, or Managed Care Finance.
• Comprehensive understanding of and experience with US healthcare dynamics and the factors influencing pharmaceutical value.
• Proven success in commercial pharmaceuticals with a history of effective execution and results.
• Ability to identify complex relationships and market dynamics, synthesizing them into clear, direct, and impactful communications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate successfully across a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects with potentially interdependent findings and deadlines.
• Engage with a diverse group of individuals across product, marketing, and customer experience domains.
• Capacity to implement programs that yield improved business results in a timely manner, along with the flexibility to adapt to changes in both internal and external environments.
