This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and implement a holistic market access strategy targeting both public and private payers, establishing optimal pricing, reimbursement, and funding pathways.
• Anticipate and shape changes in reimbursement, health technology assessment (HTA) processes, and healthcare policy to safeguard and enhance access.
• Create value propositions, economic models, and access tools that illustrate clinical, economic, and system-level benefits.
• Drive the trade and distribution strategy in collaboration with wholesalers and retail partners.
• Negotiate and oversee Distribution Services Agreements and other trade contracts, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
• Identify, assess, and pursue strategic partnerships that broaden access, attract new patients, and stimulate growth.
• Collaborate with Finance on aspects related to pricing, forecasting, scenario planning, and net revenue performance analysis.
• Manage partnership deals from inception to execution, encompassing financial modeling and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team while fostering alignment across Commercial, Medical, Legal, and Finance departments.
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with key stakeholders in Finance, Pricing, Market Access, Strategic Partnerships, and Trade, including leading quarterly business reviews.
• As a member of the Canadian Lead Team, contribute to affiliate objectives concerning strategy planning, spearheading enterprise priorities, and achieving sustainable commercial and organizational outcomes.
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree along with 15+ years of industry experience.
• 9+ years of demonstrated management experience in a relevant industry.
• Profound understanding of public and private payer landscapes, reimbursement pathways, and distribution frameworks.
• Proven track record in negotiating complex commercial access, trade, and partnership agreements.
• Strong strategic and financial expertise, including pricing, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Experience in engaging with policymakers, payers, and external stakeholders to influence access and funding results.
• Ability to translate insights related to access, trade, and partnerships into tangible business impacts.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in highly matrixed organizations with robust cross-functional collaboration skills.
