This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• The Director of Market Access Marketing will oversee the Market Access team in developing strategies and resources related to Market Access and field-based access messaging.
• This individual will play a key role in shaping and implementing the company's market access strategy to ensure optimal product positioning, reimbursement, and patient access in primary markets.
• A thorough understanding of payer dynamics and provider marketing requirements, including value communication and evidence generation, is essential, along with the capability to align cross-functional teams with access goals.
• The Director will lead the department and collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and the US leadership team to create resources that showcase and communicate product value while addressing patient access challenges for payers, providers, and health systems, thereby contributing to commercial success.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MPH, or similar) is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech companies or relevant consulting firms in a multinational context, with at least 5 years in market access, payer marketing, or related strategic roles.
• Recent experience in leading a team in a similar capacity.
• A solid understanding of the US payer and market access landscape, ideally with knowledge of both Pharmacy and Medical Covered products.
• Familiarity and/or experience with market research tools, methodologies, and analytics is advantageous.
• Strong leadership capabilities, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage through influence, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competence in working effectively in a matrix team environment and independently on multiple projects.
• The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and handle numerous projects simultaneously.
• Experience in a rapidly growing startup environment is a plus.
• A strong customer-oriented approach, with the ability to view issues from others' perspectives.
