This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Evaluate the potential for early market access, pricing, and strategies for pipeline indications and assets, including sequencing of indications, Target Product Profile (TPP), and Target Product Labeling (TPL).
• Collaborate with Indication Development Teams to enhance trial designs based on payer requirements and feedback from regional Access.
• Coordinate Early Scientific Advice from key Health Technology Assessment (HTA) agencies and perform gap analyses with external consultants.
• Ensure alignment of Access and Commercial positioning, pricing, and strategies with Indication Commercial Teams.
• Analyze unmet needs, payer value propositions, the pricing and reimbursement (P&R) landscape, and overall product outlook.
• Contribute to global pricing strategy and policy formulation.
• Validate payer value messages, pricing expectations, and value propositions through Advisory Boards and payer/HTA research.
• Create core value dossiers and objection handling documents.
• Formulate and assess global and regional access strategies, including considerations for early access, launch implications, risk mitigation, and scenario planning.
• Establish and validate contracting options and go-to-market assumptions.
• Collaborate with Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Regional Access teams to enhance evidence generation plans and identify epidemiological trends and unmet medical needs.
• Provide insights for health economic and outcomes analyses necessary for access, including Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (CEA), Budget Impact Analysis (BIA), and burden-of-disease assessments.
• Conduct launch-readiness workshops involving regional and local Market Access teams and other functions.
• Lead strategic access initiatives within the Myasthenia Gravis therapeutic area, focusing on indication expansion, global launches, next-generation FcRn products, and lifecycle management.
• Work in partnership with global, regional, and local country teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders.
• Over 7 years of pertinent industry experience in biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.
• A minimum of 5 years of Market Access and Pricing experience related to specialty drug launches in the US or Europe.
• Advanced graduate-level education in natural sciences, medicine, business, engineering, or finance is required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in understanding payer needs, decision-making processes, strategies, reimbursement stakeholders, and influencers in the US and/or significant EU markets.
• Demonstrated experience in developing global and regional pricing and market access strategies and conducting research.
• Familiarity with working alongside clinical development teams.
• Experience with launch and commercialization efforts for orphan and rare disease therapies.
• Proven ability to manage external agency partnerships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership abilities and team management skills.
• Possess strategic, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexity while clearly articulating intricate problems and solutions.
• Capability to comprehend highly technical concepts and operate in a scientific environment.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural and multilingual global setting.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
