Director, Managed Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Director of Managed Care will oversee strategic collaborations with Managed Care Organizations, Post-Acute providers, and Health systems.

• Aids in business operations, compliance audits, and provides analytical support.

• Informs senior management about potential business opportunities and strategic directions.

• Directs and enhances Strategic Partnerships for the Company, focusing on clinical integration, reimbursement improvements, and innovative developments.

• Offers guidance and direction to cross-functional team members, including those in Operations, Sales, Billing, and/or Finance.

• Guarantees timely and precise establishment and ongoing management of contracts with associated entities.

• Oversees a client portfolio to pinpoint and realize business opportunities and projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of pertinent work experience in contracting, credentialing, or network management is essential.

• Preferably, five (5) years of management experience in a related role.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

• Capability to navigate complex contract negotiations.

• In-depth understanding of medical contracting practices and claims pricing/reimbursement strategies.

• An independent thinker and decision-maker.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• A strategic business partner.

• Proficient in computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.

• A solid capacity to learn new technologies and possess the technical aptitude to understand data flow through systems and their interactions.
