This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead the development of valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities.
• Proactively oversee the M&A due diligence process.
• Convey key operational and valuation factors to senior leadership.
• Take responsibility for preparing financial schedules related to M&A for Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Cultivate relationships with pertinent internal stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Conduct additional ad hoc analyses as required.
• Generally requires 10 years of professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Valuation, M&A, and transaction advisory.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of transaction documentation.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Outstanding financial modeling abilities, such as calculating weighted average cost of capital (WACC), discounted cash flow modeling, market multiple analysis, and leveraged buyout analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in PC skills with a solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred experience using Capital IQ.
