This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Oversee valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities and capital allocation decisions utilizing discounted cash flow and other valuation techniques.
• Develop and sustain driver-based operating models to assess business performance, strategic options, and transaction assumptions.
• Administer the M&A due diligence process in collaboration with Corporate Finance and cross-functional teams.
• Spot financial risks and opportunities associated with transactions.
• Evaluate transaction documents and convey the financial implications arising from negotiations.
• Articulate operating and valuation drivers to senior management.
• Compile financial schedules and supporting analyses for M&A presentations aimed at Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Review valuation analyses developed by the business for capital allocation.
• Assist in preparing capital presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board.
• Foster relationships with business units, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and other corporate functions.
• Conduct ad hoc financial, strategic, and transaction-related analyses.
• Relevant degree.
• Generally 10 years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in valuation, M&A, or transaction advisory.
• Capability to manage multiple projects with minimal guidance.
• Proficient in engaging with business units throughout the organization.
• Skilled in presenting deal outcomes and progress to senior leadership.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, net working capital, and capital expenditures.
• Ability to apply financial and strategic analysis to companies, public competitors, and entities of strategic interest.
• Outstanding financial modeling skills, encompassing WACC calculation, discounted cash flow modeling, market multiple analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and other valuation methods.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong written communication abilities.
• Proficient PC skills with a solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Capital IQ is preferred.
• Occasional travel to a McKesson hub is anticipated.
