This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the strategy, execution, and performance of the member lifecycle for over 2 million monthly active members across various channels — including email, push notifications, in-app messages, and web — from onboarding through the winback phase.
• Define the roadmap, manage the lifecycle calendar, create reporting mechanisms to track our impact, and lead the lifecycle team in their development.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of Going's Braze integration, lifecycle program, and marketing technology stack, identifying the most impactful opportunities to enhance member experience and drive business results.
• Assume responsibility for the lifecycle calendar and campaign workflows, ensuring clear processes for intake, prioritization, quality assurance, and conflict-free scheduling.
• Develop a unified view of lifecycle performance and establish a regular reporting cadence with leadership.
• Familiarize yourself with your team — their objectives, strengths, and growth areas — and establish a management rhythm that includes one-on-ones, rituals, and priorities.
• Publish a prioritized lifecycle roadmap and experimentation strategy.
• Oversee the strategy, enhancement, and execution of the complete lifecycle program, including scaling personalized, omnichannel communications across email, push notifications, in-app messages, and web that support the Going mobile app, website, and newly launched product value.
• Manage performance and reporting throughout the lifecycle (from onboarding to winback), continuously improving key metrics such as activation, adoption, engagement, retention, and lifetime value, while maintaining dashboards to track and share results.
• Implement AI in all relevant automated journeys to boost program performance and team efficiency.
• Convert business objectives into delivery requirements — such as data, segmentation, targeting logic, and dynamic content — while closely collaborating with Data, Product, and Engineering teams on technical initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing lifecycle team that adopts a member-first approach to problem-solving and fosters a strong culture of testing.
• 8+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing for B2C brands (preferably within a consumer app or subscription business), including at least 3 years of experience in leadership and team development.
• Demonstrated ownership of an end-to-end lifecycle program across multiple channels (email, push notifications, in-app messages, and web), including ownership of the calendar and program governance.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in Braze (or a similar enterprise CRM) — including Canvas, segmentation, behavioral triggers, and personalization/Liquid logic.
• Strong analytical capabilities: experience with cohort analysis, lifetime value modeling, A/B testing, and retention/funnel reporting. Comfortable with building and sharing dashboards. SQL experience is a plus or willingness to learn.
• Practical experience applying AI in lifecycle marketing — such as AI-driven personalization, send-time optimization, predictive segmentation, dynamic content, and automation — with the ability to assess AI outputs against brand and quality standards while being aware of data privacy and governance.
• Proven track record of collaborating with Data, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver technical projects; able to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Skilled copywriter capable of crafting clear, on-brand, high-converting copy for email, push notifications, in-app messages, and web. While not a designer, you provide sharp and constructive creative feedback, elevating the team's overall quality.
• Demonstrated expertise in campaign development — able to drive a campaign from concept and brief through messaging, creative direction, and execution, while effectively collaborating with designers (providing strong briefs that balance brand voice with performance).
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills; a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and ensure follow-through.
• Goal-oriented, with a history of establishing and achieving long-term performance metrics. Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, adaptable to wearing multiple hats and handling a wide range of projects.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States and available to work during US hours.
• Fully remote work environment
• Annual team retreats, with past locations including Scottsdale, Washington D.C., Vancouver, and Mexico City.
• Open vacation policy, with a minimum of 15 days off
• Comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance coverage
• 401(k) plan with a 5% employer match
• $750 quarterly stipend for remote work, wellness, and personal development
• Up to 12 weeks of paid family leave

• Continuing education and development reimbursement
• Engaging challenges to tackle and an outstanding team to collaborate with daily
