Director – Lending, Home Loans

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand initiatives focused on boosting home loan production, streamlining efficiencies, and enhancing the overall member experience in home lending.

• Create, propose, and execute strategies that enhance our service and delivery capabilities, resulting in growth in membership and loan production.

• Serve as the owner of corporate strategic initiatives or programs assigned by the EVP, Chief Retail Officer. Lead these initiatives when appropriate and represent Home Loans, Lending in other assignments where Home Loans, Lending is not the primary business owner or sponsor.

• Cultivate a positive and engaging work atmosphere for each team member by encouraging skill development, providing coaching for improvement and growth, motivating others through your words and actions, maintaining high employee morale throughout Golden 1, and upholding our mission, vision, and core values. Foster a high-performance work culture.

• Create, prepare, process, and analyze reports that drive increased expectations, growth, and results. Engage in and suggest enhancements for products and services.

• Oversee recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent that will enhance our home loan production capabilities, thereby improving the overall member experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial institution in a management role (or related discipline), including at least three years in a senior leadership position, is required.
