Director, IT Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Technology, you will be responsible for spearheading the overall IT architecture strategy for a dynamic healthcare organization.

• You will design systems that are in alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and emerging technologies.

• This role involves managing a team of IT Network, Cloud, and Systems Architects.

• Collaboration with IT leadership and business stakeholders will be essential to drive innovation, enhance system interoperability, optimize costs, and improve security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership position managing network, cloud, and systems architecture teams, preferably within a healthcare setting.

• Strong expertise in SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, network security protocols, and healthcare data exchange networks is essential.

• Proficient experience with AWS, the Well-Architected Framework, and hybrid cloud solutions is required.

• A proven track record of assessing, testing, and implementing modern platform visibility solutions (DataDog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus / Grafana) is necessary.
