Director, Investment Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with advisors to formulate investment and allocation strategies

• Assist in client consultations and deliver impactful presentations

• Oversee the creation of investment proposals, encompassing modeling, analytics, outputs, graphics, and messaging

• Bridge the Investment Strategy team with advisors and internal strategies

• Coordinate outreach and communication across fixed income, structured notes, options, and private investments

• Create allocation models, advisor tools, resources, and investment materials

• Represent Mariner Investments in client meetings across various client segments

• Mentor investment strategists and support education/onboarding initiatives

• Monitor trends in wealth management and proactively address client needs

• Integrate outputs from Research, OCIO, and Internal Strategies into cohesive, client-ready solutions

• Ensure message consistency, objectivity, and client-centric focus throughout the team

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in investments, wealth management, private banking, consulting, or a similar field

• Demonstrated expertise in allocation planning and structuring investments to meet varied client objectives

• Proven success in client-facing investment conversations with sophisticated UHNW clients and prospects

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Comprehensive investment knowledge across asset classes and portfolio development

• Capability to represent Mariner’s complete range of investment products

• Team-oriented mindset with cross-functional experience

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• Advanced qualifications such as MBA, CFA, or CAIA are preferred
