This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with advisors to assist in proposals, client meetings, and critical presentations, ensuring the proficient and consistent use of Mariner’s investment platform.
• Act as a main point of contact, promoting teamwork and information exchange between the Investment Strategy team, advisors, and internal Mariner strategies—especially in equity-focused methods, as well as fixed income, structured notes, and private investments.
• Work alongside the Managing Director and Investment Strategy Team to design and implement allocation models, advisor tools, and resources that incorporate Mariner’s wide-ranging investment offerings.
• Serve as a client-facing representative for Mariner Investments across all client segments, from emerging affluent to ultra-high-net-worth clients and prospects.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Investment Strategy Team's capabilities, including mentoring strategists of various experience levels and assisting in education/onboarding initiatives.
• Keep abreast of trends and advancements in the wealth management industry, ensuring that Mariner remains at the leading edge of client-focused investment solutions.
• Consolidate outputs from Research, OCIO, and Internal Strategies into thorough, client-ready solutions tailored to the specific needs of different business units.
• Foster a culture of consistent messaging, objectivity, and client-centricity within the team.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in investments, wealth management, private banking, consulting, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in allocation planning and structuring investments to align with diverse client objectives.
• Demonstrated success in client-facing investment discussions, including engagements with sophisticated ultra-high-net-worth clients and prospects.
• Extensive investment knowledge across asset classes and portfolio construction, with the capacity to represent all of Mariner’s offerings.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts to varied audiences.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proven ability to work across different functions (Research, OCIO, Internal Strategies, Business Units).
• Advanced credentials preferred (MBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent).
