This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Formulate and implement the IT strategy in line with the company's goals, ensuring that technology initiatives improve business performance.
• Direct and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of an upcoming SAP S/4 implementation throughout the organization.
• Supervise the maintenance and optimization of IT systems to guarantee reliability and scalability.
• Assess emerging technologies and propose investments to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Lead the annual IT budgeting and planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Oversee risk assessments, compliance measures, and vulnerability management efforts.
• Guide incident response planning and ensure readiness for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
• Supervise the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
• Define and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to evaluate IT performance and value delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Prior experience in implementing and managing an SAP S/4 environment.
• Strategic Thinking: Capable of aligning programs with organizational goals and long-term vision.
• Decision-Making: Confident in making data-driven decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Risk Management: Skilled in identifying, assessing, and proactively mitigating risks.
• Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Proficient in managing program budgets and optimizing costs.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
