Director, Individual Giving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement Ipas' strategy for individual giving, enhancing connections with major and principal donors while boosting unrestricted philanthropic revenue.

• Personally nurture, solicit, and manage a portfolio of transformative donors and prospects.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving Individual Giving team.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and team members across Development, Communications, Finance, and global programs to enhance donor engagement and organizational philanthropy.

• Employ fundraising analytics, portfolio management, and strategic planning to promote long-term fundraising success and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven success in securing major and principal gifts, including six- and seven-figure philanthropic contributions.

• Experience in leading an individual giving, major gifts, or principal gifts fundraising initiative.

• Demonstrated capability to guide and develop fundraising professionals.

• Outstanding skills in relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning.

• Background in creating donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.

• A strong commitment to advancing human rights, reproductive freedom, gender equity, or similar social justice causes.

• Availability and readiness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
