This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Perform financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions on behalf of private equity clients as well as corporate acquirers and sellers.
• Strategically plan, oversee, and direct multiple due diligence assignments and service teams.
• Serve as the main client liaison throughout the entire due diligence process.
• Conduct on-site and/or telephonic interviews with C-level executives at target companies for acquisition.
• Evaluate historical financial and operational performance of target firms, elucidate business trends, and pinpoint potential risks.
• Create due diligence reports and presentations for clients that consolidate analyses and underscore key findings and recommendations.
• Train, nurture, and guide junior staff members.
• Implement TAS Best Practices to guarantee consistent service quality and deliverables, and actively engage in the enhancement of the group’s Best Practices.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for both the group and the firm.
• Develop proposals that include budgets and scope of work, and present these proposals to prospective clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in audit, accounting, and financial due diligence is essential.
• Previous experience working with lower middle market companies is required.
