This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The main responsibility is to guide retrospective cohort studies utilizing Inovalon’s claims data assets, either independently or in conjunction with external data sources (e.g., EHR, SDOH).

• Required tasks include leading cross-functional project teams to create and implement scope-of-work proposals, study design protocols, and statistical analysis plans, as well as analyzing data, interpreting results, summarizing findings, overseeing dissemination and publication development, and advising on strategy. Work will span multiple therapeutic areas.

• Act as a principal HEOR subject matter expert within the team and across the organization.

• Assist in generating business with new clients while expanding relationships with existing clients.

• Leverage exceptional consulting skills to identify client needs and opportunities.

• Responsible for driving the team's success regarding sales, revenue, and project management.

• Plan and manage work requests, prioritizing and tracking a variety of research and data analytics projects of different scopes and scales.

• Collaborate with team leadership and members to define project scope, estimate work efforts, identify staffing expertise/resource requirements, and develop project timelines.

• Oversee project staff in project execution, particularly concerning client communication, management, preparation and delivery of interim results, drafting final reports (WORD, PowerPoint), and creating dissemination materials such as abstracts, manuscripts, and white papers/brief insights.

• Coordinate with team members to assess and monitor the status of critical projects to ensure timely delivery; this includes assisting teams and project members in overcoming barriers. Resolve complex client issues promptly and appropriately.

• Ensure compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures, and mission statement.

• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined in Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures regarding any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in this role.

• Carry out responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably assigned by Inovalon to achieve operational and financial success for the Employer.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience in the healthcare industry is required, with significant expertise in HEOR methods, particularly observational research and the utilization of retrospective real-world data.

• At least three (3) years of experience successfully managing projects from start to finish.

• Experience in project management, including budget tracking, developing project plans, monitoring deliverable statuses, adhering to timelines, and client engagement.

• Prior consulting experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience in evaluating research findings and presenting them in suitable formats for both internal and external distribution.

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

• Detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently.

• Experience with IRB is preferred.

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to succinctly explain complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside the firm.

• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize various activities, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; familiarity with SharePoint.

• Excellent interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

• Commitment to teamwork with an emphasis on collaboration.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to acquire and apply knowledge beyond one’s immediate functional area.
