This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the HEOR and value-evidence strategy for the ARGO franchise, starting with D-PLEX100.
• Develop comprehensive evidence plans that support access and reimbursement in the US and Canada throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify evidence gaps pertinent to hospital decision-makers, payers, and HTA bodies, and prioritize necessary studies and analyses.
• Articulate the economic value proposition for a surgical product that is reimbursed under DRG for inpatient settings.
• Lead the creation of AMCP and other value dossiers, along with supporting clinical and economic evidence summaries.
• Construct and sustain budget-impact, cost-effectiveness, cost-of-care, cost-offset, and account-level value models.
• Create tools for payers, hospitals, and P&T/value-analysis committees, as well as materials for handling objections.
• Head the HEOR and evidence aspects of NTAP and other applications for inpatient add-on payments.
• Formulate strategies for hospital coding and reimbursement, which include MS-DRG, HCPCS, and ICD coding.
• Analyze DRG economics and the overall landscape of inpatient payment.
• Design and supervise retrospective database studies, real-world evidence, chart reviews, and pragmatic HEOR studies.
• Collaborate with clinical, biostatistics, and evidence-generation teams, as well as KOLs, external vendors, and academic partners.
• Propel HEOR publications and communications for various formats such as abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
• Assist US field engagement with payers, hospital systems, IDNs, and decision-makers in population health.
• Formulate the Canadian value-evidence and HTA strategy, including submissions to CDA-AMC/CADTH and INESSS.
• Keep abreast of changing evidence requirements, HTA methodologies, and ICER-type evaluations.
• Deliver comprehensive launch-ready dossiers, models, value tools, NTAP support, coding strategies, field enablement, and evidence-generation plans.
• Advanced degree in health economics, outcomes research, pharmacy, epidemiology, public health, or a related field (PhD, PharmD, or Master's); Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
• At least 8 years of experience in HEOR, health economics, or value & access within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.
• Proven experience in managing value dossiers, including AMCP dossiers, as well as budget-impact and cost-effectiveness models.
• Solid understanding of US reimbursement, particularly inpatient DRG economics, NTAP, and hospital MS-DRG, HCPCS, and ICD coding.
• Experience in designing and overseeing HEOR studies that utilize claims, EHR, and registry data.
• Proven track record of collaboration with external vendors and academic partners.
• Ability to translate economic analyses into actionable value narratives for payer, hospital, and P&T stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Clinical/Regulatory teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% of the time.
• Preferred experience in hospital/inpatient, anti-infective, surgical, or drug-device product HEOR.
• Direct experience with NTAP or other inpatient add-on payment pathways is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital P&T committees, value-analysis committees, as well as antimicrobial stewardship/infection prevention economics and Canadian HTA is preferred.
• A publication record in HEOR or health economics venues is preferred.
• Must be capable of sitting for extended periods, frequently standing, walking, talking, and hearing, occasionally climbing stairs or using elevators, lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, and operating keyboards, telephones, and handheld devices.
