• Develop and spearhead the strategy for logistics, repair, and distribution networks.
• Establish a comprehensive demand planning and forecasting process that aligns with financial projections.
• Oversee the S&OP process, effectively balancing supply and demand while proactively managing risks and opportunities.
• Create capacity models to enhance resource utilization and align supply with customer expectations.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels and effective inventory management across all regions and depots.
• Lead operational productivity analyses and identify opportunities for optimizing the global inventory strategy.
• Develop and automate customer-centric KPI reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze business and financial outcomes to deliver insights that inform strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, forecasting, and business development, to synchronize operations with demand planning.
• Work closely with clients and actuaries to forecast volume requirements and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Promote collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive ongoing improvement.
• Manage and mentor a team of directors and managers, encompassing roles in regional planning, analytics, procurement, and order management.
• Provide career development and guidance to planning staff to cultivate a high-performing team.
• Oversee inventory budgets exceeding $100M, driving margin growth through efficient supply and demand balancing.
• Support cost reduction initiatives while maintaining outstanding service levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in forecasting and inventory planning systems.
• Expert-level skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, trend analysis).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven track record of leading process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Great Plains, or similar inventory management platforms.
