This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Assist the Executive Director of Contracting and Pricing in all related tasks, ensuring timely and successful completion of responsibilities.
• Handle data preparation, validation, calculations, and analytics pertaining to the management of government and commercial contracts.
• Analyze, document, review, and submit all required product and pricing obligations for federal and state government programs, such as Medicaid (AMP, BP, USA, state reporting), Office of Pharmacy Affairs (PHS), and Veteran Affairs (NFAMP, FCP, FSS, IFF, TRICARE), adhering to mandated deadlines.
• Collaborate with third-party partners involved in state price transparency reporting, government pricing, and related areas.
• Maintain government pricing methodologies, standard operating procedures, and reasonable assumptions related to government programs and pricing, ensuring compliance with current federal statutes and regulations.
• Conduct trend analytics and comparisons to benchmarks to support calculations.
• Prepare analytics for Senior Management regarding price increases, product and contract negotiations, and legislative changes.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all responsibilities related to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
• Manage products, pricing, and contracts within ESPERION software applications.
• Review and validate chargebacks on a daily basis.
• Communicate with customers regarding pricing and contracts.
• Collaborate with accounts payable and customer service teams as necessary to address customer inquiries.
• Execute other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities to assist Finance activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field, accompanied by 10 years of pertinent experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience with government price calculation and reporting for state and federal programs (such as Medicaid, PHS, FSS, and state price transparency).
• Familiarity with accounting systems processes and controls, demonstrating knowledge of general accounting practices and associated controls.
• Commitment to quality management, continually seeking improvement and promoting accuracy and thoroughness.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning and navigating enterprise-wide accounting systems.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, a robust work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently while effectively communicating and coordinating efforts with colleagues.
