This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of V&I’s mission and vision as a science-oriented, patient-centric organization.
• Stays informed about key GST initiatives and collaborates efficiently throughout the organization to guarantee alignment and execution.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in HIV while utilizing strong business acumen and strategic thought processes.
• Works effectively within CSEE and across various functions.
• Formulates GST annual plans in partnership with Global Medical Leads to convert strategic objectives into scientific training strategies and learning goals.
• Engages with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to collect input and align priorities.
• Evaluates knowledge gaps and training requirements for scientific exchange professionals.
• Creates and maintains an annual HIV Scientific Training Plan that aligns with V&I priorities.
• Communicates plans with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution.
• PharmD, PhD, DNP, or MD, with a minimum of five years of relevant medical affairs, clinical practice, or learning and development experience; OR MS degree in life sciences, with a minimum of ten years of relevant medical affairs, clinical practice, or learning and development experience; OR BS degree in life sciences, with a minimum of fifteen years of relevant medical affairs, clinical practice, or learning and development experience.
• Expertise in HIV.
• Strong skills in communication, influencing, and stakeholder management, with the ability to lead without direct authority.
• Capacity to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed, global environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in developing and executing global and/or U.S.-based scientific training programs.
• Knowledge and application of adult learning principles.
• Proven leadership and project management experience in collaborative environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint and Copilot.
