This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Oversee the strategic implementation of integrated communication initiatives for two oncology in-line products.
• Collaborate with Research & Development, Human Health, Investor Relations, Global Media Relations, Policy, Market Access, and other interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive communication efforts for significant achievements such as regulatory approvals, data releases, and medical conferences.
• Anticipate and develop U.S. and global communication materials for oncology products.
• Create and implement communication strategies to enhance the company's reputation as a leader in oncology.
• Ensure communication aligns with the corporate narrative, global oncology business strategy, and primary business objectives.
• Formulate communication strategies, programs, and materials for regional and global subsidiaries.
• Provide guidance to regions and subsidiaries on franchise and product communication matters.
• Engage with advocacy groups, external specialists, including researchers, and both trade and local media outlets.
• Collaborate with public relations agencies and assist in managing associated budgets.
• Supervise a direct report who supports the oncology portfolio.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in a communications or public relations position within the pharmaceutical or a related sector.
• Experience in oncology product communications is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across various platforms, including print, digital, and presentations.
• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly visible environment.
• Experience in budget and agency management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communication plans and execute at a tactical level.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Familiarity with advertising management.
• Knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding of business strategy.
• Skills in communications management, planning, and strategy formulation.
