Director, Global AI Industry Solutions – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to global Sales, R&D, and Customer Retention within the Financial Services sector.

• Utilize AI, data analytics, and cutting-edge R&D to monitor market trends, influence business strategies, and convert insights into actionable initiatives.

• Lead Cloudera teams through AI-driven transformations by sharing knowledge, tools, and advancements in R&D.

• Develop and oversee AI-centric content.

• Facilitate internal training and pipeline development.

• Aid in acquiring new clients through industry-specific applications.

• Collaborate with R&D teams to incorporate the latest AI innovations into solutions.

• Spearhead internal industry communities.

• Represent Cloudera as a subject matter expert at external events and promote thought leadership.

• Convert Product R&D advancements into business results, sales playbooks, and go-to-market strategies for Financial Services.

• Counsel key customer accounts and present insights to C-level executives.

• Work in partnership with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

• Offer industry-specific AI expertise during high-stakes sales cycles and assist in ROI calculations.

• Represent Cloudera at conferences, panels, and through written materials.

• Design, develop, and present AI reference architectures, technical prototypes, and MVPs tailored for Financial Services use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated capability to construct technical prototypes and design production-quality reference architectures.

• Extensive, hands-on experience with enterprise AI/ML engineering lifecycles, data orchestration, hybrid cloud infrastructures, and contemporary AI frameworks, including LLMs, RAG architecture, and vector databases.

• Over 10 years of experience in the Financial Services ecosystem.

• Proven history of deploying AI, machine learning, or advanced data analytics solutions in a production setting.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to transition from technical whiteboarding to high-level business strategy presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another highly technical field.
