• Define and spearhead the processes for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Take ownership of line of business (LOB) timelines, deliverables, and quality benchmarks for P&L financial outcomes.
• Engage proactively and influence functional leaders.
• Lead and nurture a team of individuals by implementing established coaching methodologies.
• Ensure alignment with organizational culture, development opportunities, emergency coverage, succession planning, and work/life balance.
• Act as the central point for driving cultural transformation aimed at enhancing insights and returns on marketing investments.
• Generate valuable insights and metrics to enhance financial performance.
• Oversee deal management, deal flow, and pricing analytics.
• Provide recommendations for modifications to General Managers and the management team.
• Manage the LOB/functional area closing process for month-end financials.
• Ensure effective communication regarding issues, action plans, and any necessary remediation across various business sectors.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on Strategic Workforce Planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• An MBA, CPA, or other advanced certifications are highly preferred.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations, ideally within the technology, payments, or SaaS industries.
• Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, including managerial personnel.
• Advanced Excel skills are necessary.
• Strong proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Oracle, Alteryx) and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
