This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop detailed financial models to assess M&A opportunities, capital investments, and strategic business initiatives.
• Oversee annual budgeting processes that effectively align financial resources with strategic objectives.
• Generate monthly and quarterly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts, including variance analysis.
• Create in-depth financial insights, board presentations, and executive dashboards to convey financial status, trends, and strategic implications.
• Collaborate with functional leaders (Sales, Operations, Marketing, R&D) to deliver financial analyses that support their strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Act as a financial advisor to the C-suite on significant contracts, partnerships, and business opportunities.
• Promote ongoing process enhancements through automation, AI-driven tools, and improvements in financial systems.
• Build, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
• 7-10 years of progressively responsible financial experience, showcasing deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Proven experience in high-growth settings, especially within private equity-backed firms or acquisitive corporate environments where financial rigor and rapid scaling are essential.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, FP&A, and financial reporting; expert-level understanding of forecasting methodologies, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements, automation solutions, and utilizing AI and emerging technologies to enhance financial operations and reduce cycle times.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific KPIs, business metrics, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights that improve operational performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of presenting complex financial information to diverse audiences, including executive leaders and boards.
• Comfortable working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment; adaptable and agile as business needs and goals evolve.
