This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 15 Senior Account Executives throughout a designated multi-state area.
• Conduct regular field visits, deal assessments, and one-on-one meetings to evaluate performance, reinforce consultative selling techniques, and enhance skill sets.
• Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to attract, onboard, and retain exceptional field sales talent.
• Take ownership of regional revenue goals for the complete Cars Commerce portfolio, including Cars.com marketplace, Dealer Inspire, Accu-Trade, and digital media solutions.
• Maintain strict regional pipeline management and forecasting accuracy within Salesforce.
• Supervise territory design and account assignments to optimize market reach and revenue opportunities in your region.
• Act as the main field representative between your region and internal stakeholders.
• Over 10 years of B2B sales experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in a field sales leadership position managing quota-carrying individual contributors.
• Proven success in leading teams that sell complex, multi-product or platform solutions using a consultative sales approach.
• History of achieving or surpassing team revenue goals in a high-activity, field-oriented environment.
• Experience in managing teams that are geographically dispersed across various territories.
• Strong CRM discipline with the ability to analyze, coach from, and hold teams accountable to pipeline metrics.
• Preferred experience in the automotive retail industry (including dealerships, dealer groups, OEM channels, or automotive technology/media).
