Director, External Reporting, Technical Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation and review of the Company’s quarterly and annual external reporting package.

• Act as a subject matter expert on intricate U.S. GAAP accounting issues.

• Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of technical accounting conclusions.

• Drive the implementation of new accounting standards and associated disclosure requirements.

• Offer accounting guidance for acquisitions, divestitures, financings, contracts, and other atypical transactions.

• Present technical accounting issues, reporting updates, and significant judgments to senior leadership and external auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or an Advanced Degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in US GAAP accounting.

• Familiarity with consolidation and reporting systems (preferably Oracle and Workiva).

• Experience in preparing or reviewing external filing documents.

• Proven track record in leading the research and documentation of complex technical accounting issues or other non-routine transactions.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior leadership, external auditors, legal teams, and cross-functional business partners.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to support business initiatives.
