This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Develop, document, and promote an events strategy that aligns with the broader objectives of the team and the company.
• Utilize an outcomes-oriented framework to prioritize resource investments.
• Collaborate with Coastal’s six business units to create and document event plans that are integrated across go-to-market functions.
• Establish a scalable, repeatable, and templated approach for efficient execution, backed by the necessary tools and training.
• Equip Coastal teams with best practices and standardized templates for independent event execution.
• Work together with the marketing teams of Salesforce and Snowflake on co-marketing initiatives.
• Partner with the Finance department to oversee budgets, maintain visibility of expenditures, and document return on investment.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of event leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression through the pipeline.
• Provide executive-level reports on performance, impact, and areas for optimization.
• Ensure flawless coordination and execution of events, delivering exceptional experiences for attendees.
• Align event programming with overall marketing campaigns and priorities.
• Create sponsorship packages to attract co-investment from partners in Coastal-hosted events.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing events and field marketing team.
• Leverage AI and automation to enhance scalability, efficiency, and performance throughout the events function.
• Over 10 years of experience in event management, ideally within technology or B2B organizations.
• More than 3 years of experience in people management, demonstrating the ability to build and scale high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with the Salesforce and Snowflake ecosystems; direct experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact through events.
• Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain composure under pressure.
• Capable of balancing strategic thinking with operational excellence and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude towards tasks of all sizes.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Salesforce reporting.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.
• Willing to travel as necessary for on-site event execution.
• Must possess full-time, permanent U.S. work authorization.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Portfolio or work samples are preferred.
